Co-Founder
Davina Fankhauser is an executive leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing public policy, education, research, and cross-sector collaboration to improve access to healthcare. Throughout her career, she has built trusted partnerships among government agencies, healthcare systems, colleges and universities, professional societies, nonprofit organizations, employers, and community leaders to address complex challenges and create meaningful public impact.
As Co-Founder of Fertility Within Reach, Davina helped build the organization into a nationally recognized resource for fertility policy, education, research, and advocacy. She collaborated with policymakers, physicians, attorneys, researchers, insurers, employers, and actuaries to develop evidence-based policy solutions that expanded access to fertility treatment and fertility preservation. Her work has informed state and federal legislation, regulatory implementation, educational initiatives, and healthcare policy while helping improve access to family-building care for individuals and families nationwide.
Prior to co-founding Fertility Within Reach, Davina served as Advocacy Director for AllPaths Family Building and Online Services Manager for RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. She was the first woman and first non-medical professional elected President of the New England Fertility Society and continues to serve in leadership roles with professional organizations and advisory committees dedicated to healthcare policy, family building, and patient advocacy.
Recognized for her collaborative leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders, Davina is known for translating complex policy, research, and healthcare issues into practical solutions that strengthen organizations, inform decision-making, and expand opportunities for the communities they serve.
